Since forming the Gundog Trainers Academy nearly a decade ago, and through working with thousands of gundog owners, handlers and trainers, we really appreciate how helpful and rewarding it is to have clear targets to aim for, with measurable criteria. To ensure excellent results for both gundogs and handlers across all areas, the Gundog Assessment Programme will provide the most robust foundation on which all gundog handlers can build - whether the goal is a well-behaved pet gundog that has the opportunity to satisfy its instinctive behavioural needs, a gundog you are proud to work in the field, or a dog you can begin competing with in Gundog Working Tests.
